Our lab in Valgrisenche is surrounded by a pure and beautiful nature, it is a timeless place where days are marked by the slow pace of the loom, where dexterity, creativity, passion and tenacity give rise to artifact of pure wool.
For over 45 years, we take care of promoting and innovating the ancient craft of artisanal loom weaving, handed down for centuries in our valley.
Our small organization has always been a peculiarity and uniqueness of the area, an interpreter and supporter of the community's culture.
A place where you will learn about the history of the ancient craft of wool weaving loom, where you will understand that textiles are not only a simple twist of weft but also stories, people, and places.

If you want to create a woolen accessory using a 4 shafts loom, this is definitely the class you were looking for! For 3 days you will have the chance to learn how to manage a 4 shafts loom and, under our guidance, you will create personalized woolen scarves and neck warmers. You’ll be the only one to shape your creations in accordance with your personal style. It may take a while to understand the loom functioning but once you’ll get a little more familiar with it, we will teach you how to make different wefts using different kind of yarns. So, combining technique, creativity and dexterity, you’ll be able to make a lot of woolen accessories, every of each we’ll be unique and so special!

STAMPA VEGETALE SU TESSUTO

Dopo una breve passeggiata nel bosco a raccogliere foglie, bacche, fiori... utili alla tintura, sotto la guida attenta di Laura Cortinovis, si preparerà il bagno di colore e si mordenzerà il drap, tessuto in pura lana rosset, realizzato artigianalmente dalla Cooperativa Les Tisserands. Dopo una pausa pranzo offerta a base di prodotti locali, ogni partecipante potrà tingere il proprio porta oggetti in drap e infine disponendo bacche, foglie, ortaggi sul tessuto e attraverso la tecnica della stampa vegetale a vapore, porterà a casa un manufatto unico ed originale.

Attraverso la manipolazione con acqua e sapone della lana rosset, unito a fibre di lana merinos, ogni partecipante, sotto la guida attenta di Laura Cortinovis, realizzerà il proprio cappello unico e su misura.

Sotto la guida della designer Laura Cortinovis, attraverso la manipolazione della lana e delle fibre di seta, potrai realizzare la tua borsa unica e personalizzata dando sfogo alla tua creatività e manualità. Un'esperienza unica in un contesto naturale incontaminato; il prezzo comprende il pranzo all'area pic nic a base di prodotti locali. Sarà l'occasione per scoprire "Le Pays des Tisserands", e il lavoro artigianale di tessitura della Cooperativa Les Tisserands

Diamo una seconda vita ai nostri abiti! Attraverso la tecnica della tintura naturale e la stampa vegetale potrai rinnovare, personalizzare magliette, vestiti, camicie, abiti che per qualsiasi motivo tieni chiusi nell'armadio, e regalarti un capo "nuovo" da indossare con orgoglio!! Sarà Laura Cortinovis a guidarti nelle diverse fasi di realizzazione, attraverso l'uso di foglie, fiori, bacche, cortecce tingeremo il capo che porterai e poi potrai "disegnare" su di esso attraverso la stampa vegetale. Un'occasione unica per rilassarti, divertirti e creare ritrovando il ritmo lento del fare "a mano" in un contesto di natura incontaminata, circondato dai telai in legno della Cooperativa Les Tisserands. Il costo comprende il pranzo all'area pic nic a base di prodotti locali.
