OUR SELECTION
A DAY IN THE JOINERY WORKSHOP
Sara & Ilaria, ebony joiner
We have worked for over 40 years in the production of high quality furniture. The company is located in the amazing countryside of Abruzzo, a perfect place to shape ideas and projects. The experience consists of a guided tour in the great joinery lab where traditional techniques and technological processes are the tools through which works of cabinet-making are created. Participants will be able to understand how a product is made, from design and construction analysis, to the choice of material until the realization in the laboratory. You can also learn more about the techniques of painting; from preparation to finishing, application of gold leaf (on request) or painting techniques combined with traditional painting systems. The hans-on workshop is dedicated to those who have the need, even for professional reasons, to know and better understand the processes related to the production of furniture.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE
SANTI, ebony joiner
The courses will be held in my workshop where you’ll be able to get to know the tools of my trade by completing a small marquetry project or learn how to approach the restoration process of an antique piece of wooden furniture. I’ll welcome you to my shop and we’ll have Vin Santo, fruit juice and cantuccini while I’ll tell you about the materials and tools of my work. Then I’ll follow you through the making and finishing of a small project that you’ll get to take home along with a mounting box that will allow you to put your project together once home using the techniques learned during the course. The price is intended for a family group of 3 or 4 people. If you should need a different option, please ask in the green box "customized experience": it will be a pleasure for me to find out the right solution for you. We can offer a translation service to English on request.

THE MANY SCENTS OF MAGICAL HERBS
ANTONELLA, farm
The workshop experience entails a visit to the company’s farm and various agricultural venues, followed by Antonella’s expert guidance. After a short walk among the century-old chestnut trees, immersed in the scents coming from the herb garden, you may choose to participate in the “Erbe Magiche” workshop. From collecting the herbs to packaging them, you will discover all their medicinal qualities or, alternatively, follow cooking classes that present exclusive recipes for sweet and savory cookies and biscuits. To top the day off, lunch and dinner will present products from the company and nearby territory.
