The mini workshop we propose aims to immerse the visitor in our world, trying to understand the philosophy of our small company.
In the Tuscan countryside, completely surrounded by nature, we will discover one of the most distinctive features of our products. In fact, thanks to the resources of our territory, we are able to make our products unique. The Tuscan hills are famous for its excellent wine production, and it is exactly from here that comes our Pellevino color.
In fact, the pomace and the scraps of grape processing allow us to achieve excellent results in terms of coloring of leather dyeing.
During our meeting, after a brief introduction to the history of our Pellevino color, we will make a color mixing demonstration and the subsequent application. Once you understand the process, you'll be trying first person to apply the resulting colors on different materials.
Since you'll be welcoming in a dyeing lab, we suggest you to come with comfortable clothes. Don't wear your best suit then!

ENJOY TUSCAN HILLS

This special experience has been conceived for those that want to dive into the typical rural life of our lab. In four days, you will have the opportunity to try our particular leather dyeing process but also to taste traditional food and take part in the grape harvest. The experience will last 4 days and 3 nights, during which you will stay in our farm holiday where the lab is located too. Activities will be scheduled as follows: • Day 1: welcome meeting and room placement, aperitivo and welcome dinner with traditional food from Tuscany. • Day 2: after a brief introduction to the history of our Pellevino color, we will make a color mixing demonstration and the subsequent application. Once you understand the process, you'll be trying first person to apply the resulting colors on different materials. We will have lunch on our veranda (weather permitting) or in the carriage’s room next to the historical villa Cecchi. In the afternoon we will head to Pescia to explore the downtown, and then you can have a private dinner or book it at our farm holiday. • Day 3: it’s grape harvest day! We do have an ancient vineyard, so you will have the chance to harvest some grapes or just watching us celebrating this traditional event. You will then have a tasting of traditional food and a tour in the wine cellar before having lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax next to our swimming pool surrounded by the tuscan hills, before having our goodbye dinner. • Day 4: it’s time to leave, but we do want to have a feedback from you, regarding the days you spent here.

Weaves and hand made textiles are waiting for you, ready to unveil many secrets regarding the art of weaving. The urban myths and tales will create a background to this unique experience where you will work a traditional tuscan fabric: this in turn can become a bookmark or a small decoration to hang on your bag as a keepsake.

Painting pottery is an ancient technique. This workshop will give you the chance to experience the charm of this hundreds-of-years old art. We want to let you find out the emotion of the direct contact with the hand-made things. We will help you release your creative energy through an educational and learning path. The experience that we are offering, will last for 4 hours, and it envisages the following stages: - the first will go through a journey within the history of the pottery; we will let you know the different typologies of glazes and crystalline. - during the second stage we will glaze the object; you can choose it among a wide range of selected ones. - to conclude we will decorate the object using the “brush” technique. The object will then be placed in the oven to be cooked. Later we will give it back to you so that you can understand and see how the colors change during the cooking process. Possible transport costs will be charged extra.
