THE STORY

I've opened my business back in 1999. I've always been attracted and interested towards knowing things and touching and experimenting with materials. It was a small shop with its workshop. Situated in one of the main road in Sesto Fiorentino. There I used to create home features and various objects. The need for supports and rigid bases has took me right away to work with wood. In that period I've examined in depth the working technique of the “mosaic glass” and that of the “gold leaf”. Later, thanks to the opening of a bigger workshop, I began working on interior design. I thus began designing and producing my objects, but I also worked on other people's projects.
It was around 2003 that I began working in the world of resins. At that time I decided to place side by side my job as a craftsman and my artist activity. I did that by using the techniques and the materials utilized during my job, to create paintings and abstract installations.
Nowadays I enjoy working with craftsmanship and art without separating these two worlds, but rather melting them.
I work with resins, glass, wood, colors, concretes, metal leaves, sands and so on and so forth. Most of the time I completely get dirty while mixing these materials and creating with them.
I love to blend ancient and new working techniques, to produce furniture, accessories, floors and coverings.
My workshop is a place where ideas take shape. A place where I create useful objects, but also pictures and photos that don't have a specific function. What they do is to presumptuously transmit sensations.
