I welcome into my workshop people with a curious nature, and will teach them how to create with their hand pieces that will become your everyday tools or gifts for your loved ones.
During this visit, you will discover how the printing process works, using several small, ready-made matrices.
At your arrival, first of all we will moisturing the papers, to make them ready for the printing phase.
After illustrating the engraving process, the tools and the colors, we will create the copies from the matrices. At the end of the visit everyone will receive a small postcard print, as a souvenir of the experience. At the end, fresh or hot tea for everyone!

CROCKERY SOAP HOLDER

As we are on the Como lake you will give your soap holder the shape of a stylized fish. To decorate, you will use stones, fabrics, seashells and other objects to imprint on your still fresh piece. At the end of this project your works will dry for a few days in the workshop, then after the first baking session I will fill in the print that you have made with a white polish and then bake the pieces for a second time at 1020 degrees centigrade. The finished soap holder will then be sent to your address - if you live in Italy the sending price is included in the course.

CIRKUITA: HIGH-TECH JEWELS

This hands-on workshop is for adults only. Paola invites you, new investigators, in her lab in Milan, very close to the famous Navigli. You will become the protagonists of an experience in first person, turning pieces of "technological archeology", destined to landfill and apparently insignificant, in unique customized jewelry, whose transparency enhances the high-tech spirit of the XXI century and projects those who wear them towards the future era of recycling and cyber existence. During the workshop,that will last four hours, you will develop the following steps with the help of Paola and her team: 1. taking apart of the device and selection of the most interesting pieces, 2. creative composition, 3. casting. The remaining steps will be accomplished in the laboratory with the delivery of the finished jewel by Christmas.

Non preoccuparti, non è richiesta alcuna esperienza precedente con la terra cruda. La tecnica che utilizzeremo è la scultura piena, che prevede l'impiego di un'anima per modellare la tua opera. Potrai contare su un kit completo di materiali, il tutto compreso nel costo del workshop. Cosa aspetti? Rilassati, lasciati andare e goditi la sensazione di lavorare con le tue mani. Questo laboratorio è pensato per il tuo benessere mentale e fisico. E non dimenticare: durante il corso avremo un delizioso aperitivo per conoscerci meglio e condividere le nostre storie!
