If you are curious about which ones they are and how to realize them, I will invite you to my Atelier. Here you will find out, through needle and thread, the “Punto Mosca”, “Soppunto”, “Punto Strega” and the “Punto Invisibile”, which are the bedrocks of the handmade needlecraft!

Have you ever wondered where does the inspiration to realize a dress come from?? In my case the inspiration are my clients. I interpret their dreams and their needs. I support them and suggest them which are the lines and the colors that could enhance their personality. Are you curious about getting to know how to go from the personality to the drawing? I invite you to try this experience during an explanatory talk and a first draft of the drawing thought just for you!

GILDING ON WOOD

We will work together for about one hour, depending on the number of participants. We will begin with a brief introduction to the art of gilding, in which we will introduce you to the materials and decorative techniques by which you can understand the historical placements of the object. We will explain how gouache and mission gilding works and give some hints about the techniques of restoration of gilded and lacquered wooden works. For the practical part, you will get to try mission gilding of a small wooden object of Florentine manufacture and its subsequent aging. The wooden object provided by the school for rehearsal will be given to you free of charge as a memento of your visit.

HOW TO MAKE A HAT

Not many people know how to make a hat, which are the steps to get to the final product, creating it by hand, with the help of a few tools, an object that will be appreciated by those who recognize the true craftsmanship. We will show you the whole process, from the wooden shape to the finished hat. The experience will last about one hour.
