During this hands-on workshop you will create a pair of tea mug or a pair of coffe cups.
I will tell you about my experience with pottery and I will show you the different materials we can work with.
We will choose together the most suitable technique, then we will design the mug and shape your creation, following your ideas.
When it will come the time, we will have a break for a good tea and I will make you a special sweet gift to taste!
Once our molding phase is done, you will choose the colors for your object and I will then cook it, glaze it and finally send it to you.
If you are in Italy the shipping costs are included, while if you come from abroad we will find a way for the shipping.
My lab is very welcoming but as every artisanal "bottega" it also has its flaws. For instance, it is a little bit cold here during the winter..
I do have a heater, but you better bring a warm jumper with you!
On the other side, here you can enjoy a pleasant fresh air during the summer.
You don't need to bring anything else with you, I will give you all the equipment, apron included!

CROCKERY SOAP HOLDER

As we are on the Como lake you will give your soap holder the shape of a stylized fish. To decorate, you will use stones, fabrics, seashells and other objects to imprint on your still fresh piece. At the end of this project your works will dry for a few days in the workshop, then after the first baking session I will fill in the print that you have made with a white polish and then bake the pieces for a second time at 1020 degrees centigrade. The finished soap holder will then be sent to your address - if you live in Italy the sending price is included in the course.

Non preoccuparti, non è richiesta alcuna esperienza precedente con la terra cruda. La tecnica che utilizzeremo è la scultura piena, che prevede l'impiego di un'anima per modellare la tua opera. Potrai contare su un kit completo di materiali, il tutto compreso nel costo del workshop. Cosa aspetti? Rilassati, lasciati andare e goditi la sensazione di lavorare con le tue mani. Questo laboratorio è pensato per il tuo benessere mentale e fisico. E non dimenticare: durante il corso avremo un delizioso aperitivo per conoscerci meglio e condividere le nostre storie! L’unico requisito è un sorriso! Ho creato una miscela di terra cruda da materie prime naturali, dando vita a vasi per piante "vivi".
