I was born in Milan and have been living in Pisa for more than 25 years.
In 1987 I fell in love with weaving materials: from then on I’ve been studying the art of weaving and using a hand-loom. In 2007 I started my workshop; here, with other coworkers I project and produce textiles and objects made from textiles, on hand weaves that can go from 4,8,16 to 24 weavers. Thanks to our research and studies we have managed to create small collections, tailored with a lot of personality. I also collaborate with designers and stylists, proof of which you can see in some of my pieces that are born from a communal sharing of ideas and inspirations.
I believe the real quality in art and handicraft is studying, my workshop is also a school where people weather through curiosity or passion come to learn the art of weaving.
During the year I organize a number of courses that teach how to weave by hand and how to create a project for your next piece. I have courses set up not only for adults but for children also, not only that but I also have lessons scheduled in various schools from primaries to universities.
When the time is right I create what I have projected through research and create works of art. In my workshop we create ideas that then we transform into projects. I believe that when you finish a piece you can see your intelligence and passion sawn into it.
