THE STORY

I like to label myself a 2.0 carpenter, I have worked in the Sondrio province since 10 years and now it’s been 20 years that I devote myself to this beautiful craft.

I felt in love with this profession in early childhood, when during the summer I used to spend my days in the mountain pastures with my maternal grandparents and, on rainy days, I used to realize my wooden cutlery, bowls and walking sticks with hand tools.

The transition from a simple hobby into a real profession has occurred when I was 14, when I chose to attend a carpentry school graduating in 2000.

I like to keep the wood with its original colors and design features as much as possible, and to do this it is essential an initial careful assessment of the material and a clear idea of what you are going to do with that piece of wood.

What I would like to offer to my visitors is a moment to share a real passion, the same that I live when I turn a "piece" of oak-chestnut barrel in an artifact conceived by some young friend designers.

Moreover my lab is nestled between apple trees and the famous terraced vineyards of Valtellina, and a small part of it is owned and cultivated by my family. An amazing land and a unique landscape, a beautiful setting for my laboratory.
