It was perfect in every sense of the word. Marisa is a wonderful trove of history on the impiraresse tradition in Venice and how it affected and continues to in her community. Anyone interested in knowing more about Venice would surely enjoy it. The opportunity to see the real day to day neighborhoods of the city were a much needed break from the tourist traffic. Beautiful stories and photographs transported me to another time…thank you to Italian Stories for this much needed effort in the global artisan community.
