I live and work in the Province of Lecce. I've had many working and artistic experiences, in particular related to painting. Anyway, they never actually satisfied me, that's why in 2004 I decided to attend a Mosaic Art course. I can truly say that that has been the year of my creative breakthrough!
Once I finished the course, I worked and collaborated with other Mosaic Master Artisans. With them we developed Mosaic projects, very important at a cultural level, both nationally and internationally.
In 2008 I've opened my atelier, beginning a new creative and artistic path. This led me to create on commission, and to design and produce personal works and collections that represent my knowledge and sensibility.
Curiosity and creativity. These are the two words, if I have to choose any, that depict my relation with the Mosaic. Curiosity towards the substance, the color, the shape. Curiosity that allowed me to interpret the Mosaic in a contemporary way, after the classic study of the mosaic techniques.
Tiles, spaces, rhythm, balance...these are all the elements that compose the Mosaic. In my atelier, at the heart of Salento, ideas take shape, they become expressions. The Mosaic results as the essential protagonist.
It's a strong passion, apart from being a job, that continuously stimulates me, and pushes me to create and grow.
